Hello my name
is Gale Thomas-Goodman. In 1988 I founded Vagary Mews Manx in
northern New Jersey to breed and show CFA registered Manx cats and
protect, preserve and improve the Manx cat breed. In 1998 my
cat, CH, GP, NW Vagary Bon Mot, earned CFA's highest honor by becoming
a National Winner. Many other cats have become Grand Champions. In the fall of 2004, my husband and I moved to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
I have been
fortunate to have worked with some of the cat fancy's greatest breeders
including my mentor Mary Stewart, (Lupracan Mus), and her close friends
Sherman and Sandy Ross, (Tahame). Other bloodlines come from Blarney, Jayess, Clacritter, Kitterland, Cottori and Tynwald, I have worked in close partnership with Susan Murphy of Katskans Manx since 1999.
If you have
any questions about Manx cats or kittens, my e-mail link is at the
bottom of each page. On my "Links" page are recommendations
for litter, dry cat food, litter boxes, cat trees and general supplies.
These recommendations stem from my daily and extensive use of cat
related "stuff" over many years.
I'm always willing to try
to help Manx cats - some have problems - others needing a new home
- email me. The American Manx Club has a rescue contact to help homeless Manx or tailless cats find new places to live.
